Lakers Sign LJ Figueroa and Shaquille Harrison

Guards LJ Figueroa and Shaquille Harrison have joined the Los Angeles Lakers, it was revealed today.

The Lakers have also asked for waivers on guards Javante McCoy and Dwayne Bacon.

The 6'6, 200-pound Spaniard played in all 32 games for Santa Cruz last season, averaging 16.6 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists.

The Sacramento Kings have signed forward Alejandro Figueroa from the Santa Cruz Warriors for the 2021-22 NBA G League season.

Prior to that, he played in the Dominican Republic for Leones de Santo Domingo before moving to Canada.

He played at the University of Oregon, St. John's University and Odessa College before joining the LA Lakers in 2020-21.

Harrison (6'4", 195) played for the Nets last season, averaging 2.0 points and 2.4 rebounds in 11.3 minutes per game.

Harrison played for the team during the 2020-21 season and appeared in nine playoff games.

Bacon was signed by the Lakers on Sept. 26, and recently appeared in two preseason games for the purple and gold.

McCoy was signed by Los Angeles on July 24, 2022.
